Our free screening of Can You Hear Us Now? is live! Links to access the film and the August 9 meeting are below.
Can You Hear Us Now? is a powerful documentary film that shows the personal and political impact of gerrymandering and other anti-democratic policies in the state of Wisconsin. Access the film at https://www. twelveletterfilms.com/north- shore/. The film is available for free from that website until Monday August 9.
At 7PM August 9th, our monthly virtual NSFM meeting will feature a post-screening conversation, led by Deborah Patel of Fair Maps North Shore. We will address gerrymandering, representation, and how the time is right for people to “hear us now!” Speakers include filmmakers Jim Cricchi and Susan Peters; film subject Rebecca Clarke; Carlene Bechen, Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition Statewide Organizer; Representative Deb Andraca (WI 23rd Assembly District); and Benjamin Rangel, People’s Maps Commissioner for WI’s 4th Congressional District.
